Plans with embedded deductibles generally cost the employer more, but provide better coverage for employees with dependents. (With an embedded deductible, one person on a plan with two or more members can meet the individual deductible and begin receiving covered benefits before the family deductible is met.)

You fund the most affordable base plan and network, and your employees can buy up to higher-cost options if they wish. No matter which options your employees choose, your contribution stays the same, allowing you to better predict and control your costs each year.
